AccelByte Cloud 3.14.0
Release Date: January 17th, 2022
Here's a look at what's new in AccelByte Cloud 3.14.0:
Highlights
Removed Read Permissions for Leaderboards
In AccelByte Cloud 3.14.0 we've removed the permissions to read leaderboard data, which allows you to publish your leaderboards publicly on the web. Now you can show off your players' skills on your website.
Quality of Life Changes
Historical Log Download Improvement
Now you can download historical logs without opening them first, and select multiple logs to be downloaded at once.
Added Season Pass Items to Bundles
Season Pass items can now be added to item bundles.
Restriction on the Use of Currencies from Another Namespace
Prior to AccelByte Cloud 3.14.0, currencies could be copied from any namespace, potentially causing confusion. Now currencies configured in the publisher namespace will be accessible in any namespace, whereas currencies configured in a game namespace will only be accessible in that namespace.
Fuzzy Search for Player Records
We've added fuzzy search support to the Player Records menu, allowing you to search for a player record by just inputting the first few characters of the player's User ID.
New Display Name Availability Check
Now users can see if their preferred display name is already taken or not before submitting the registration form.
